SET UP: After witnessing a fight between Mama and Payaso, Youngster is filled with hate. Youngster is at school talking to some young girl that he likes when he decides to impress her by playing a game of kick ball...
SCRIPT:
Exterior: Elementary School Playground-Day
Youngster enters the gate and all the boys playing "kick ball" suddenly stop and turn to stare at him. Youngster approaches the boy in the catchers position who has possession of the big yellow ball.
YOUNGSTER:
(to boys, demanding)
Hey, I want to play, ese.
BOY:
Get off the field. The game already started.
Youngster turns to look at Girl #1 who is also staring back.
YOUNGSTER:
Didn't you hear me, puto? I want to play...
BOY:
(interupts)
Didn't you hear me, wannabe-I said get off the field.
Youngster's face twists in anger like his older brother Payasos. He slowly reaches down into his pocket as the boy turns around and throws the ball to the pitcher in the center of the field. The catcher starts to cheer the other boys on to continue playing.
Youngster turns around once again and sees Girl #1 staring at him. His face goes pale.
YOUNGSTER:
(to himself)
Fuck this shit, ese.
Youngster pulls his hand out from his pants pocket with an object in his grip.
Reveal-Switchblade,
in Youngsters grip.
There is a loud snap as a blade extracts from the knife stilt.
Zoom in on the switch blade as Youngster begins to walk towards the boy with the switchblade lowered at his side.
